Harvest contract: Beginning with the year 2016, it shall be considered as the base year with the option to renew for four consecutive years (2017-2020). Renewal of harvest for the following crop year shall be based on the quality, timeliness and provision of yield data of said crops. Yield data can be in the form of real time on board monitoring systems and/or by documentation of commodity weight for each plot.
In addition to the harvest of winter wheat and canola, the contractor shall provide transportation of said commodities to the destination points that can and will accept wheat and canola. Determination of point will be determined prior to harvest that will be in the best interest of the agency and contractor.
General Information:

The total farm consists of @ 440 acres which is sub-divided into 10 individual plots averaging in size of 40 to 50 acres. Approximately half of the farm will be managed as conventional (220 acres) and the other half as no-till (220 acres). Within each management practice, four treatments will be assigned and the treatments will rotate each year for four years.
Treatments consist of wheat for grain, fall graze to grain, graze out, control (graze out every year) and canola. The contract for harvest for the first year (2016), will be for the wheat assigned acres (@ 330 acres, conventional and no-till) and canola (@100 acres, conventional and no-till) treatments. Yield data shall be collected in each harvested area either by in cab monitoring or crop weight (grain cart scales and/or stamped weigh tickets).
Harvest wheat acres following the first year (2016) shall be reduced (@ 160 acres), as the treatments for graze out will implemented for the following four years.
