Question: Would it be acceptable to deliver all 170 hives at once? Also, my hives are on 4-way pallets for movement via forklift, does that work for you application? Also, would a full deep hive work in lieu of a five frame nuc?
Answer: We couldn’t take all hives in one shipment because there isn’t a lot for the bees to forage on when they’re not in use. We have our own pallets set up in the field. These pallets would need to be moved if we accepted a shipment on pallets. A full deep hive will not work, we require 5-frame nucs because we rotate them on a regular basis in and out of pollination cages.
