HP Unified Functional Testing Training and HP Application Lifecycle Management Training

Introduction

The United States Department of Agriculture, Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) has a requirement for HP Unified Functional Testing Training and HP Application Lifecycle Management Training. The courses are designated for staff to learn in automating functional test scripts, and the full functionality of HP ALM for releases, requirements, test planning and execution, test workbench and defect tracking.

Objective

The purpose of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to request quotes for delivery of instructor-led HP Unified Functional Testing Training and HP Application Lifecycle Management Training courses and to include the trainng facility location(s). The target audience will include members of the USDA, OCFO employees to learn software testing automation concepts and techniques for SAP, API, JAVA, and Web-based applications that will enable FMS to full regression testing its applications.

Scope The two (2) courses required.

HP Unified Functional Testing: A 5 day course for up to 20 students to learn how to automate functional test scripts using HP UFT. The expectation is to learn software testing automation concepts and techniques for SAP, API, JAVA and Web-based applications that will enable FMS to fully regression test its applications. Programming features of HP UFT to enhance the test scripts should also be covered. An optional certification exam should also be offered.

HP Application Lifecycle Management: A 5 day course for up to 20 students to learn how the full functionality of HP ALM for releases, requirements, test Planning and Executions, test workbench and defect tracking. It should also cover interaction with HP UFT to run automated test scripts using the HP ALM workbench. The project lifecycle should also be covered as well as different testing cycles (e.g. unit, system, QA). An optional certification exam should also be offered.

Task

a) Present instructor-led training course for Financial Management Services personnel in New Orleans, LA for each of the two courses;

b) Training dates should consist of 5 consecutive days (M-F) at the earliest mutually agreed upon dates between FMS management within 60 days from the date of the award;

c) Training will take place during the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Central Time; and

d) Vendor needs to provided training facility in New Orleans, LA area.

NOTE: OCFO currently does not have a facility to house the classes, respondents should provide options in their response for where the classes would be held in the New Orleans, LA

HP Unified Functional Testing Training and HP Application Lifecycle Management Training area and include that cost in their proposal. Respondents should assume that the majority of students live within commuting distance of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Instructor Requirements

USDA requests an experienced, qualified trainer, who has received positive participant evaluations from previous related courses, to conduct the above training session.

Travel

Travel costs should be included in vendor’s proposal as part of the quote.

Task Order Award

Task order award will be made based on the receipt of a technically acceptable proposal that is determined to be best value to the Government.
