Questions:

Q –On when performance time begins?

A - Anticipate contract award day after opening. Contractor will then have 7 days to submit payment bond, register in the CCR database (in not already), submit Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, and have a preconstruction meeting with the COTR and/or Inspector. Would then issue Notice to proceed on day 8 which gives contractor 3 days to begin work. Once being performance time starts. Will be flexible on issuing notice to proceed so that the three days would not have contractor starting on a Friday or Saturday.
