AG-1681-S-17-0011 (Forest Road 97.00.0) Questions and Answers 03/13/2017
1. Will the forest service repair FR 35, prior to work on the culverts, to make it suitable for OTR truck traffic? No. Any improvements to the road prior to milepost 3.91 on FR 35 (first Forest Service bridge) has to be coordinated with the Town of Chittenden, VT. Any road improvements would be incidental to all other costs.
1. What is the weight classification of the existing bridges on FR 35? The first bridge was designed for HS-20 loading and the second bridge was designed for HL-93 loading.
