Solicitation is amended to replace the existing Schedule of Activities for Building 991 with the attached Schedule of Activities for Building 991. Specific changes pertain to floor cleaning by vacuum and the type of equipment that shall be utilized. No other changes are made by way of this amendment.
Justin Holder
Schedule of Activities - Building 991
Building 991 is a three-story historic office building constructed in the early 1900’s. All janitorial work on this facility shall leave the flooring and paint undisturbed. The office was recently painted and the floors sealed in order to encapsulate lead-based paint and asbestos-containing mastic. All surface cleaning of the floors shall be done by damp mopping and vacuuming as sweeping is not acceptable. Equipment used for vacuuming will be a sealed system with HEPA filtration and will be abrasion resistant on all components that come in contact with the floor. Water is currently not provided at this facility. The contractor will need to make arrangements to bring potable water in for cleaning until the government has remedied the water situation.
