B. Questions and Answers:
Question:
1. Does the Forest Service have a preferred approach to NEPA over the life of the project? For example, will the NEPA analysis be site-specific for each of the three planning units (Onion WUI, N/S Mill, and Little
Twin WUI).
2. Also, what is the anticipated level of NEPA (for example: Programmatic EIS and then site-specific
EA’s) or some other approach?
Answer:
Please refer to Section L and M for NEPA team and experience requirements. Appendix A is written specifically to allow for any NEPA documentation that is legally sufficient. Therefore, it is at the discretion of the Prime Contractor to complete a single EIS, multiple EAs, or any combination of these, along with CEs.
