Amendment No. 01
The solicitation is changed as follows. Since the version of the solicitation posted on the FedBizOpps website also contained errors in the header and page numbers, the Government is updating the entire solicitation. Corrections to the header and page numbers, along with the following changes are directly incorporated into the revised solicitation documents.
Paragraph II-1 Schedule of Items
Add the following footnote to the Schedule of Items for items 1-02, 2-02, 3-02, 4-02 & 5-02:
“**Note: The chemical application rates identified on the Schedule of Items are for pricing purposes only and are not necessarily the quantities that will actually be applied. Contractor payment for chemicals applied per acre will be based on the application rates required by the product label of the chemical utilized, as applied to meet contract specifications.”
Paragraph III-2.4 AGAR 452.216-73 Minimum and Maximum Contract Amounts
Remove words “per contract awarded” from the paragraph.
Paragraph IV-3 Description of Roads, UTV off-road sites, Handline and Monitoring Replace the sub-paragraph entitled “Handline Spraying off of Systems Roads” with the following:
“Certain portions of the road system may have fingers of target species (generally other than spotted knapweed) that are starting to colonize susceptible habitat just outside the spray corridor. These sites may occur along any of the roads designated in the contract. The Contractor shall treat these sites, up to 300 feet from the centerline of the road. The Contractor may need to use backpack sprayers to perform this requirement. Slope may vary from 10% to 50%. Footing is generally uneven with either rocky or loose granitic soils. Ground cover varies from open to light timber with deadfall. Target invasive weed infestations will be similar in density and distribution to that found along the road corridors.”
