C. Section B-4 paragraph (b) is updated to clarify the Forest Service expects to use the aircraft 100 hours in all other non Airtanker Missions. The combination of expected 250 flight hours in the wildland fire season and 100 flight hours in all other missions totals to the expected 350 flight hours annually. The change to the first paragraph of B-4(b) is as follows:

(b) Multi-Mission Profile: Although the primary mission of the Forest Service Multi-Mission Aircraft will be the airtanker firefighting mission, it will also be capable of supporting firefighting crews and delivering critical material to the wildland fire area of operations. The normal firefighting crew consists of 20 members and their firefighting gear. Chapter 13 of the Interagency Standards for Fire and Fire Aviation Operations states the Maximum Weight of a firefighting crew is 5,300 lbs including personnel and gear. The firefighting transport mission will utilize the 300 knots at 20,000 MSL capability to quickly move a minimum of two firefighting crews and their equipment to where they are needed most. The Forest Service expects to fly 100 flight hours per aircraft annually for all other non Airtanker Mission activities.

D. Section C-10 paragraph (a) is updated to reflect the need for the mutually agreeable delivery schedule to include each option and associated support ordered. Section C-10(a) is updated as follows:

(a) Due to the nature of the variable delivery schedule involved with a contractor’s aircraft production line and the variable ordering involved in this IDIQ type contract, the contractor will provide a mutually agreed upon aircraft delivery schedule including each option and associated support at the time of each delivery order. In any case, the final aircraft delivery date including each option and associated support cannot exceed 10 years from the original award of the contract.

E. Section E-3(c)(3)(iii)(B) is updated to clarify to offerors their proposed delivery schedules for initial award and subsequent orders shall include proposed deliveries of aircraft, relevant options and associated support stated in months from contract award. Section E-3(c)(3)(iii)(B) is updated as follows:

(B) Proposed delivery schedule for initial order of aircraft, relevant options and associated support ordered stated in months from contract award. Subsequent aircraft, relevant options and associated support stated in months from receipt of delivery order.
