Annual Price Adjustment:
While the quantities are estimated, the Unit Price will become the fixed price for all future orders during the contract period. Quoters wishing to offer revised prices in successive years shall state in the spaces below the price adjustment percentage to be used by the Government to compute future year prices. For instance, a 2% price adjustment factor is shown as 2% (not 102% or 1.02). Note that the price adjustment percentage can be either negative or positive. If no percentage is entered, future year prices will be the same as shown for year 1 in the schedule. The same price adjustment percentage shall be used each year of the contract to adjust prices for the following year.
ANNUAL PRICE ADJUSTMENT PERCENTAGE* ____________ %
*The quoter warrants that the prices in this contract (including the annual price adjustment percentage) do not include any allowance for contingency to cover increased costs for which adjustment is provided in FAR Clause 52.222-43.
2. The Section titled “Statement of Work – Trailhead, day use, and Campground Toilet Pumping” is deleted and replaced with the following:
Amended Statement of Work – Trailhead, and day use toilet pumping:
Requirement is for outhouse vault pumping on Seward Ranger District. Requirement is on an "as needed" call out basis. Number of calls is estimated. The Government does not guarantee the number of calls that will be made for each location. Vendor shall be responsible for pumping and proper disposal of waste. It is estimated that the Forest Service will request pumping at least once a year, for most locations, before the summer season starts and on an as needed basis for all locations.
All Trailheads/Day use areas on the Seward Ranger District are included in this work. These are located from
Seward, AK North to Hope, AK and West to Russian River West of Cooper Landing, AK.
The Forest Service shall request service when toilets are at least half full. Pumping shall occur witl1in one (1) week of request. The outhouse toilet vaults are 1,000 gallons plastic vaults with a hatch located outside next to the building. All contents including, but not limited to trash and debris shall be removed during cleaning. Once toilet vault is pumped, vendor shall back fill with water to reduce odor and to allow easier cleaning in the future.
Inside of toilet seat risers shall be checked for cleanliness after pumping and cleaned if needed.
3. Section titled “Additional Requirements” – delete subsection titled “Campground Toilets.”
