Solicitation AG-0116-S-11-0061 for a 21ft Welded Aluminum Landing Craft Questions and Answers
No information given on this document amends the solicitation
Question 1: It is the requirement that the boat plus the extended transom be approximately 21 ft. or is the intent that the extended transom length is in addition to the 21 ft. requirement, thus making the boat approximately 23 ft.
overall?
Answer: 21ft doesn't include the extended transom.
Question 2: Enclosed off-set cabin – Cabin weight on one side of the boat will cause static and dynamic (while the boat is running) listing without weight off-set. The listing can be compensated for by deck load and/or trim tabs while operating. No trim tabs were requested. Do you require trim tabs? Will there be load on the deck during operation?
Answer: We'll consider other aft cabin configuration that will enhance boat performance, as long as the design meets our operational needs and allows easy access to the outboard motors (See Amendment 1).
