About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for RFP #180000001435 issued by the State of Michigan regarding Regional Resource Team Contracts for regions 1a and 1b. The contract has an anticipated start date of May 1, 2018, and the first year will end September 30, 2018, to align with the State of Michigan's fiscal year. The RFP requires contractors to provide various services including recruitment, retention, and PRIDE training presentations, with requirements for six presentations in each county grouping as identified in the county AFPRR plan.
The pricing structure is based on unit rates rather than cost reimbursement, with one hour equaling one unit. Travel time for recruitment, retention, and PRIDE training must be included in the unit rate calculations. Conference coordination costs can be billed as actual costs under the RFP's actual cost funding component. Additional details include that day care costs for relative caregivers attending PRIDE training must be rolled into the unit rate, and employee training/shadowing time can be billed as units if the training is required and relevant to their role. The RFP clarifies that the relative licensing specialist position initially mentioned was an oversight and will not be included in the region 1a or 1b contracts.
