About this file
This document outlines the Air Education and Training Command's request for information regarding an industry day to discuss increasing pilot production output, efficiency, and pipeline modernization. Vendors are asked to respond by 29 January 2024 if interested in attending the industry day scheduled for 15-16 February 2024 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Up to ten vendors may participate either in-person with a maximum of two representatives each or virtually. Vendors are provided definitions for conditions-based phasing and asked to indicate by year what phases they can complete for pilot training, remotely piloted aircraft training, multi-engine lead-in training, and combat systems officer training. Additional questions address implications of removing certain training requirements and plans for ramping up instructor pilots, maintenance personnel, and aircraft procurement.
