About this file
This document is a Technical Data Sheet for the Aegis Sequencer, a device manufactured by Lync that can control up to six Aegis heat pump water heaters simultaneously. The Sequencer offers features such as automatic rotation of the lead unit, temperature probes to detect tank stratification, and remote monitoring and control capabilities through building automation systems. It is designed to provide energy savings by reducing peak demands and usage.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, for a firm-fixed price construction contract for Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) Barracks at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington. The solicitation is seeking manufacturers of domestic hot water (DHW) CO2 heat-pump system components that comply with the Buy American Act requirements. Interested manufacturers and suppliers are requested to provide cost and place of manufacture information, as well as catalog cuts demonstrating compliance with the specified requirements, by 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on August 20, 2024.

Technical Data Sheet
Aegis Sequencer Lync’s Aegis Sequencer has the ability to control up to six Aegis heat pump water heaters simultaneously. The Sequencer can be used in all plants where several heat pumps are installed and threfore require a coordinated management of resources. The system can control up to six units, even with varying capacities. It is also possible to manage the production of domestic hot water (DHW) and units with cool re-covery (CWR). The device is able to detect the thermal demand of the system, in order to activate the suitable units.
Features
High Performance Operation
• Controls up to six units at once
• Automatic rotation of lead unit based on run hours
• Nine included temperature probes determine temperature stratification of tank array
Energy Saving
• Lower peak energy deamnds and peak use and can lead to additional electricity savings.
• The Manager can be remotely controlled through the building automation system (BAS) allowing users to check the status of the unit in real time, record operational data, check for faults with alarms and warnings, change set point and operating modes and much more. Communication is available through Modbus RTU, Modbus IP, or BacNET
• Ideal for new and retrofit, multifamily, gyms, industrial, hospitality, education, and healthcare
