AED RFQ 26_210 Summary

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued by the State of Georgia for the procurement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The RFQ seeks quotes for AED equipment to support state and local agencies in emergency preparedness and response capabilities. The solicitation requires vendors to provide pricing for AED units, which will be evaluated based on cost-effectiveness, equipment quality, warranty provisions, and vendor support capabilities. Specific response requirements include submission of completed quotation forms with pricing schedules, product specifications, and evidence of vendor qualifications. The RFQ establishes a submission deadline for interested vendors to submit their quotes, with contract award anticipated following evaluation of all responsive submissions. The resulting contract will establish pricing and terms for AED purchases, with the potential for multiple awards or a single award to the most qualified vendor.

The RFQ establishes competitive pricing terms with vendors required to provide unit costs for AED equipment and related accessories. Pricing submissions should include any volume discounts or tiered pricing structures that may apply. The procurement may include set-asides for small businesses or minority-owned enterprises as applicable under Georgia state law. Vendors are required to demonstrate current product availability, manufacturer certifications, and technical support capabilities. Funding for this procurement derives from state appropriations or agency budgets designated for emergency equipment and preparedness. Contract performance will be contingent upon the vendor's ability to meet delivery schedules, maintain adequate inventory levels, and provide technical support and training services as specified in the final contract terms.
