MEMORANDUM
To: DAS State Procurement Analyst
From: Mark Wright, DAS EAM Project Manager
Date: 1/18/24
Subject: Consultant Work Order Selection by Direct Appointment Procedure 137- 048-0200
The Department of Administrative Services, Enterprise Asset Management (DAS EAM), has a need to contract for the technical skills of an Archaeologist to conduct an Archaeological Survey.
Archaeological Investigation Northwest, Inc. (AINW) is being chosen due to their expertise in the field of Archaeological Surveying as well as being familiar with the area while surveying an adjacent site along with several other areas in the Salem area. AINW has also worked closely with other State Project Managers, and the City of Salem Historic Preservation Officer & City Archaeologist.
These reasons above are my justification in choosing AINW to provide the A/E related services needed by the direct appointment procedures 137-048-0200.
Sincerely, Mark Wright Project Manager Department of Administrative Services, Enterprise Asset Management image1.png image2.png image3.png
