About this file

This document is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural/Engineering Services for the Capital Circle Office Complex - Central Energy Plant, Design Chiller Replacement project issued by the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS). The RFQ seeks qualified firms to provide design services for the replacement of the HVAC chiller system at the Central Energy Plant. The project includes determining the appropriate increase in cooling capacity and any related modifications to the existing structure, though major structural changes are not anticipated. Interested firms must submit their qualifications, and DMS will shortlist firms to participate in the next phase. The selected firm will serve as the prime consultant, and both architectural and engineering services are required.

The RFQ provides responses to questions submitted, including confirmation that the current funding is anticipated to be increased by the legislature for the design and construction phases. Pricing details are not specified, but the RFQ indicates that DMS has construction documents for the existing Central Energy Plant that will be provided to the shortlisted firms.
