About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) for the NEFSH Window Replacement project. The ITB seeks bids to replace windows at the Northeast Florida State Hospital located in MacClenny, Florida. The addendum includes responses to written inquiries and makes several changes to the scope of work, including updates to the contract documents, specifications, and paint manufacturer information. The response due date for this solicitation is June 15, 2023.

The addendum clarifies that the buildings will not be occupied during construction and that the project schedule will be established with the awarded bidder. That is existing equipment. A cut sheet is not available.

If there is any special coordination in order to demolish the existing curtain wall system and install the new one, it must happen before the construction Work starts. Coordinate with the facility manager to get more information about the system and how it works. The term “remove” does not means to be demolished. This is something that must be coordinated on site.
