About this file
This is an Addendum (No. 02) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for the Ravenna Readiness Center Envelope Restoration project (Invitation to Bid No. RFB-35-26). The addendum, dated August 12, 2025, provides clarifications and modifications to the original bid documents for the Department of Military Affairs project located in Revenna, Kentucky. Key modifications include removing existing concrete stairs and landings, specifying new concrete stairs, detailing laminated copper flashing requirements, clarifying window system construction using storefront materials, and removing references to ballistic and bullet resistance in specifications.
The addendum also outlines specific technical requirements for storm water management, including installing 8" schedule 40 PVC pipes below grade from six downspouts on the front and side of the building, with back-of-building downspouts discharging to an existing flume. Pavement patch repairs using new blacktop are to match existing thicknesses. Additional site visits are not available prior to the bid date, and bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their proposal. The document is issued by alt32 Architecture | Design from Lexington, Kentucky, and provides comprehensive guidance for contractors bidding on this restoration project.
