ADDENDUM TO ATTACHMENT 1
CLICK2GO SERVICES
AT THE
FORT BELVOIR COMMISSARY
April 23, 2020
CLICK2GO FULFILLMENT SERVICES
1. Duties:
a. The order fulfillment services to be provided by the CA contractor will be limited to picking and staging of portion of the order fulfillment services, as described below. The associates performing these services will be referred to as “fulfillment workers (FWs)” or
“pickers.”
b. The CA contractor will appoint a FW, who will be responsible for accessing customer orders via a CAC-enabled, DeCA-provided computer system at the commissary location.
Because the FW will have access to the DeCA IT-III system, they must pass all DeCA
Information Assurance (IA) requirements for accessing an IT-III system. The FW will use the computer system to generate a unique identification for each customer placing the order (called a license plate) and list of items that must be selected from the commissary shelves and placed in a segregated basket for each other.
c. A FW/Picker will access orders to be picked via a DeCA provided, password-protected tablet. The tablet will display what items the picker must select, how many, and which basket to put them in. One FW can pick up to six orders at the same time. If authorized by the customer, the picker must substitute another brand of the same item if the product request is available. For orders that require weighted product, e.g. produce, the FW will authorized to make changes to the desired weight or item number within a specified range
(measured by program tolerance lever in the CLICK2GO application).
d. At the conclusion of the picking an order, the FW will bring the cart to a specified location in the CLICK2GO area, at which time, the FW designated will (1) consolidate, into a single order, any orders for the same license plate tem may have been picked by multiple FWs; (2) perform quality assurance to include visual inspection of the items picked.; (3) ensure the order is properly identified with the customer’s name and order sequence number (4) ensure that the customer’s order is complete.
e. After the consolidation and quality assurance describe above, the FW will bag the items and place them in a designated temperature-appropriate storage area, grouped by the license plate.
2. The CA contractor will not perform any services associated with the customer check-out process, to include retrieving the order on the hand-held device, accepting payment from customers, completing the transaction in the CLICK2GO system, or loading the groceries into the customer’s vehicle. Customer pickup and checkout will be the sole responsibility of DeCA employees.
3. Schedule: The CA contractor will provide the picking and staging services five days per week (Monday-Friday) from 0600-1500. No service will be required during DeCA store closure days.
