About this file

This is an addendum to the Instructions to Offerors clause for commercial products and commercial services issued by Sierra Army Depot. The document establishes specific requirements for vendors submitting quotes in response to this Request for Quote (RFQ).

Offerors must include the manufacturer, make, model, and brand for each item along with supporting literature, cut sheets, and product specification data that meet or exceed the solicitation specifications, without simply restating government requirements. All pricing must include FOB Destination and be quoted to the nearest cent; failure to comply with this pricing format will render a quote non-conforming and ineligible for award consideration. Quotes must remain valid for a minimum of 60 days from the solicitation closing date, with vendors required to indicate any items requiring longer than 60 days ARO (After Receipt of Order) for delivery. Sierra Army Depot intends to award a single firm-fixed price purchase order. Questions must be submitted via email to jason.c.huth.civ@army.mil or melissa.m.kaarbo.civ@army.mil no later than seven days prior to solicitation closing; telephone inquiries will not be accepted and late questions will not receive responses. The solicitation will be available only through electronic means. Quotes lacking all required elements will be considered non-conforming and may not receive award consideration unless the Government determines otherwise. Vendors are encouraged to submit quotes early and follow up to confirm receipt.

Addendum to 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Products and Commercial Services

Sierra Army Depot intends to award a single firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation.

Include manufacturer/make/model/brand for each item along with any literature, cut sheets and product specification data meeting or exceeding those specified in the solicitation. DO NOT

SIMPLY RESTATE THE GOVERNMENT SPECIFICATIONS.

Include FOB Destination in your pricing for each item.

Pricing must be to the nearest cent (i.e. $10.93). Failing to price to the nearest cent (two places past the decimal point) will be considered failure to comply with the requirements of the solicitation and may not be considered for award.

Please make quotes valid for a minimum of 60 days from solicitation closing date. Please indicate any item requiring longer than 60 days ARO for delivery.

The availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Direct any questions to jason.c.huth.civ@army.mil and melissa.m.kaarbo.civ@army.mil no later than seven (7) days prior to closing of the solicitation. Questions must reference this RFQ number. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Questions received after the seven days prior to closing will go unanswered.

Quotes that do not provide ALL of the above will be considered non-conforming to the requirements of the solicitation and may not be considered for award, unless determined to be in the best interest of the Government.

It is encouraged for vendors to submit quotes as early as possible. Due to the nature of electronic business, it is also encouraged for vendors to follow up and ensure their quote is received.
