About this file
This document is an Addendum (Number Three) to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-36-26) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for the Kentucky State Penitentiary in Eddyville. The project involves a re-advertisement of a previous bid (RFB-92-24) for Retaining Wall Rehabilitation at the Department of Corrections facility. The addendum is dated September 10, 2025, and provides a specific operational detail for contractors regarding dump truck movements within the prison yard.
The sole modification in this addendum allows contractors to have two dump trucks on the prison yard - one actively working at the site and another positioned by the scale house behind the fence, ready to be filled once the first truck is full and prepared to exit. No additional pricing, funding, or contract terms are discussed in this document. The addendum is signed by Susan Ward, Statewide Procurement Analyst II, from the Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, and is meant to provide clarification to potential bidders on the logistics of materials removal during the retaining wall rehabilitation project.
