About this file
This is an Addendum to Request for Quotation (RFQ) 2026-001HR for Apparel & Uniform Services issued by the City of Villa Rica, Georgia. The City seeks to procure apparel and uniform services for approximately 100 employees across 26 departments. Requested items include short and long-sleeve shirts, polos, button-ups, sweatshirts, quarter-zips, vests, utility jackets, rain jackets, and work pants. The City specifies preferred brands including Gildan for shirts, Carhartt for jackets and vests, and Carhartt, Wrangler, or Levi's for work pants. Desired features include moisture-wicking, stain-resistant, and reinforced knees on pants. All items must include the City's multi-colored logo and department name through embroidery or screen printing, with logo specifications provided in specific PMS colors. The City requires delivery within 5-7 business days and anticipates both bulk orders and individual on-demand orders. Multiple facility locations across Villa Rica will receive shipments, and the City requests an online company store platform for ordering.
Pricing should reflect a per-unit model with tiered volume discounts and include separate pricing for oversized items (2XL and larger). The City spent approximately $60,000 annually on uniforms in the past year and does not currently maintain a contract with any apparel vendor. Bidders should provide multiple garment options with pricing for each category rather than a single recommended option per garment type. Product and embroidery samples will be required upon request during the evaluation process. The City prioritizes high-quality items at reasonable costs and anticipates that most orders will come from individual departments based on their specific needs and employee counts, with initial bulk orders upon program implementation and periodic on-demand reorders for new hires and replacements.
