About this file
This addendum modifies the Invitation to Bid (RFB-132-25) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for a Permanent Salt Conveyor System at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet facility in Graves County, Mayfield, Kentucky. The addendum, dated November 26, 2024, establishes binding changes to the original bid specifications and drawings. Key modifications include requirements for a NEMA 4X-rated meter base, installation of 4-inch conduit with four #600MCM copper conductors extending from the meter base to a utility pole weather head with an 8-foot minimum pigtail, and upgrade of the transformer (X-A) from NEMA 4 to NEMA 4X rating. The contractor is responsible for furnishing and installing all conduit standoffs, conduit, and weather head components in accordance with utility company requirements.
The addendum further requires the contractor to furnish and install a 100-ampere non-fused electrical disconnect switch on the line side of the transformer, positioned adjacent to the transformer and mounted on the existing Panel A rack. These specifications supersede the original drawing specifications and become binding contract requirements for all bidders responding to RFB-132-25. The addendum references Lynn Imaging for additional specifications and drawing changes and was prepared by Susan Ward, Statewide Procurement Analyst II, with MARCUM project number 22643.
