About this file
This is Addendum One to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-114-26) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for the 24029 AMLBAML AML Project in Perry County, Kentucky, dated November 3, 2025. The addendum modifies the original bid specifications and requires bidders to utilize the revised bid schedule dated 11/3/2025. The project encompasses a comprehensive range of construction and environmental remediation services including site preparation, utility relocation, structure removal and replacement, concrete work, steel reinforcement, erosion control measures, subdrain installation, HDPE pipe installation, soil and rock drilling, retaining wall construction, and vegetation restoration. The bid schedule contains 57 line items with quantities ranging from 1.0 lump sum for mobilization to 9,500 cubic yards for earthwork, with unit prices established for most items.
Addendum One specifically amends three bid items: Filter Fabric increased by 1,250 square yards for access road bench work between the Jones site and Mr. Pennington's property; Roadstone increased by 550 tons for use on the access road bench and Mr. Pennington's driveway; and Bituminous Repair increased by 125 tons for access road work at both the Jones and Fugate sites. The bid schedule includes lump sum allowances and allowable price limits (APL) for certain items, with unit prices ranging from $1.00 to $1,250.00 depending on the line item. Bidders must provide properly executed authentication of bid and statement of non-collusion and non-conflict of interest documentation for the total bid amount to be valid. Bids deemed to have unbalanced unit prices outside the APL range may require written justification if selected as the low responsive bid.
