About this file

This document is Addendum One to Invitation to Bid No. RFB-75-25 for Fence Improvements at the Luther Luckett Correctional Complex, issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration. The project involves making improvements to the perimeter fence at the correctional complex, including installing new fencing, concrete work, and relocating an existing fire hydrant. The bid due date remains unchanged.

The addendum clarifies and revises several specification requirements, such as eliminating the need for a KPDES permit, allowing the relocation of an existing fire hydrant instead of installing a new one, and waiving contractor quality control testing and special inspections for certain work. It also provides details on items such as the required thickness of concrete slabs, the specification for removing and replacing asphalt, and the dimensions for the razor wire coils. Contractors are instructed to provide all required materials, including the razor wire, rather than having some items supplied by the owner.
