About this file

This is Addendum One to Invitation to Bid No. RFB-77-27, issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, on behalf of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for the Loadometer Station Renovation project located at Boone County I-71 Southbound, Mile 75 in Walton, Kentucky. The project involves upgrading the existing southbound rest area pump station with equipment modifications and electrical system improvements. The addendum was issued on September 23, 2026, and establishes binding changes to the specifications and drawings that bidders must acknowledge on their proposals.

The addendum clarifies and modifies six key items within the project scope. Specifications for packaged lift stations are revised to reflect the pump station upgrade work, and alternative grinder pump manufacturers meeting equivalent performance standards are now acceptable, specifically Zoeller Engineered Products 71 Series from Louisville, Kentucky, subject to submittal review. Electrical work modifications include deletion of coded sheet notes 8 and 9 from Sheet E201, clarification that existing panelboards M, I, R, and OL will remain in place with all breakers and circuits replaced with new conductors in compression EMT conduit, addition of a manual throw transfer switch generator disconnect on the building's rear, and relocation of the data rack to the mechanical room with existing conduits intercepted and routed with new conduits of equal size and quantity while replacing existing conductors with new cables. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the Form of Proposal.
