About this file

This addendum to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Louisiana Office of State Procurement on behalf of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries addresses specification clarifications and schedule modifications for RFx Number 3000026105, a maritime equipment electronics installation project. The document responds to four vendor inquiries regarding the installation of Axiom2 Pro 12 RVM display units on two vessels: a 42-foot Metal Shark and a 27-foot Boston Whaler RHIB. The State confirmed that adequate dash space exists to accommodate the larger display units on both vessels, with the second unit on the Whaler to be bracket-mounted on the open console area to the left. Additionally, the State clarified that installation work may be performed at either the vendor's location or at the LDWF facility located at 13800 Old Gentilly Road, Building 101, New Orleans, Louisiana. The primary specification revision involves replacing Attachment C (Photographs, Pages 1-12) in its entirety with revised photographs that include updated images on pages 13, 14, and 15. Most significantly, the bid opening date has been extended from April 14, 2026 to April 21, 2026, with the opening time remaining 10:00 AM Central Time.

The addendum establishes procedures for vendor acknowledgment and bid revision submission. Vendors who have already submitted bids and do not require revision must acknowledge receipt of the addendum by returning a signed acknowledgement to the Office of State Procurement by mail, hand delivery, or facsimile prior to the new bid opening date. Vendors whose bids require revision must submit revisions prior to the April 21, 2026 bid opening, with submissions clearly marked with the RFx number and opening date. The State notes that electronic transmissions other than fax are not being accepted, and any revisions received after bid opening will not be considered, holding bidders to their original bid submissions. Failure to acknowledge the addendum does not relieve bidders from complying with bid terms.

Addendum No. 01

Your reference is directed to RFx Number 3000026105 for the Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the State of Louisiana – *Rebid* Maritime Equipment - LDWF, which is currently scheduled to open at 10:00 AM CT on 04/14/26.

Questions from the Vendor and State’s Responses:

Vendor Question 1. Has the agency validated that there is enough dash space available to mount 2 Axiom2 Pro 12 RVM units on the MetalShark? These displays are 1” wider than the units coming out.

State’s Response: Yes, the Agency has verified that there is enough dash space available.

Vendor Question 2. Where is the second Axiom2 Pro 12 RVM to be mounted on the Whaler?

State’s Response: It will be mounted on the open console area to the left and it will need to be bracket mounted. (See Picture page 13 of Revised Attachment C - Photographs).

Vendor Question 3. Has the agency validated there is enough space to mount the Axiom2 Pro 12 RVM in the dash on the whaler as the unit is ~1” wider?

State’s Response: There is room for one unit replacing the existing hardware despite the larger size. As measured conservatively it appears there is room for a one-inch larger unit. (see pictures pages 14 & 15 of Revised Attachment C - Photographs).

Vendor Question 4. Could the work be performed at the agency’s facility in Baton Rouge?

State’s Response: Vendor can perform the work at either their location or at 13800 Old Gentilly Rd. Building 101 New Orleans, LA 70129.

Replacing Attachment C - Photographs - Pages 1-12 in its entirety.

RFx Currently Reads: Scheduled to open at 10:00 AM on April 14, 2026.

RFx Changed to Read: Scheduled to open at 10:00 AM on April 21, 2026.
