BID OPENING DATE:

2/17/2021

ADDENDUM ITEMS: (attach additional sheets and drawings if required)

The pre-bid attendance sheet from on-line meeting held February 8, 2021 is attached. In addition, the pre-bid discussion topics from NFE Engineers is also attached for reference.

Questions and answers posed by contractors during the bid phase:

Does Davis Bacon Wages apply to this project? If they do please send a copy of the Wage Rates. Davis Bacon wages do not apply.

When will this project begin? Intent is to begin as weather allows for site work in the late Spring of 2021.

Construction plan sheet C6 shows a light pole near the outhouse that is also on the existing plan sheets. The electrical site plan sheet E3 does not have this light pole. Please clarify. The civil plans incorrectly show a proposed light pole near the pit toilet. Proposed poles and fixtures are portrayed correctly on the Electrical sheets.

Will the temporary chain link fencing be required around the entire site or will Class III barriers on the roadway be sufficient to keep out the public? Fencing to surround the site is not required; Barriers at the roadway will be permitted, but the Contractor may have to employ additional measures as they deem necessary, to safely secure the site.

Please clarify which posts to use for signage. Site plan shows wood posts, square tube and u channel. Wood post detail is not needed.

All signposts shall be as shown on the ADA Parking Signage Detail (10’x1.75” square galvanized steel post) Will the site be completely shutdown to outside traffic or will we have to maintain access onto the site? The site will be closed during construction. Contractor will be responsible for providing barricades to restrict traffic.

How deep will the owner supplied tank and pit be? The standard DNR tank is 72”x96”x60” deep.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: This Addendum must be acknowledged by the Bidder in the space provided in the Bid Summary and Bid Form. Failing to acknowledge Addenda may be cause for the Bid to be rejected. Addenda will become part of the Contract Documents.
