About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's (DEP) Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2022002 for Land Acquisition Real Estate Title and Closing Services. The RFP seeks qualified vendors to contract for these services. The addendum answers questions from prospective vendors regarding past procurements, the evaluation criteria and award process, historical utilization data, and requirements such as the need for a Tallahassee office and participation in meetings/closings. The RFP indicates the DEP may award up to three contracts under this solicitation.

The addendum provides details on the DEP's historical usage, including estimated annual volumes for services such as title commitments, closings, and oil/gas/mineral searches. It also notes that the majority of costs have been for title insurance premiums, with minimal usage of other requested services. The addendum clarifies that references must be submitted in accordance with the RFP requirements, and that the Contractor does not need a physical office in Tallahassee.
