About this file
This Addendum No. 1 to a parking lot rehabilitation project clarifies bidding requirements and project details for the Center for Countywide Programs, owned by the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) in Michigan. The project encompasses concrete pavement replacement, sidewalk replacement, and light pole base replacement at the site. The owner retains the right to adjust concrete drive and sidewalk replacement quantities to meet budget constraints, with bidders required to hold unit prices for any adjusted quantities. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on May 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., and bids are due May 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Davis Building with public opening and reading to follow. Work may commence immediately upon notice to proceed and must be substantially completed by September 18, 2026, with final completion and payment readiness required by September 30, 2026. Prior site visits require 24-hour advance notice to Jeff Jansen, and weekend work is permitted with coordination of main entrance work to maintain weekday pedestrian access.
Bidders must obtain documents from ROWE Professional Services Company for a fee ($40 for prints, $30 for PDF, $60 for both) and must submit bid documents including the Familial Relationship Disclosure Statement (sworn and notarized), Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification, School Safety Affidavit, Bid Form, a 5% bid bond, and Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity prevailing wage certification. Performance and payment bonds of 100% each are required. This is a unit price project to be awarded as a single contract, with the contractor responsible for all site layout and construction staking. The owner has applied for a Genesee County Soil Erosion Permit pending review, and ROWE will conduct periodic progress inspections and provide on-site support during construction.
