About this file
This is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration for the Cypress Creek Restoration—Phase III DMA project at the Wendell H Ford Regional Training Center in Greenville, Kentucky. The project involves herbicide application services using multiple methods including unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, and manual application techniques. The official bid submission deadline has been extended to September 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM Eastern Time, with all other bidding requirements remaining unchanged. Questions from prospective bidders are due by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on September 22, 2025, with an addendum response expected by September 23, 2025. Bidders should direct all inquiries to Casey Mattingly and Jared Looney with Third Rock Consultants, LLC.
The specifications for herbicide application (32 94 10) have been modified to permit unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, and manual spraying methods depending on project phase conditions. Previously completed phases require manual spraying of invasive species, while undisturbed areas may utilize either unmanned aerial vehicles or helicopters, with flight plan approval still required per specification. Access to temporary roads that traverse the Phase II project will only be available after the Phase II contractor completes final completion, estimated for mid-January 2026, with no prior access permitted.
