About this file

This document is an Addendum No. One (1) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration for Invitation to Bid No. RFP-248-25. The bid pertains to the Kentucky Abandoned Storage Tank and Orphan Well Reclamation Program (KASTOW), specifically Package O covering Menifee, Estill, Lee, and Powell Counties, dated June 27, 2025. The addendum addresses a bidder's inquiry regarding potential TENORM (Technologically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material) contamination at some project sites.

The addendum responds to a question about obtaining laboratory results for TENORM samples by clarifying that the potential TENORM indications were based on initial field inspector site assessments using a Micro R Meter, and no actual sampling results are available to provide. The document maintains the original bid details and serves to provide additional information to potential bidders, ensuring transparency in the bidding process for the well reclamation project.
