This addendum is (1) Pages of 8-1/2 x 11
The purpose of this addendum is to clarify further the requirements of the plans. The contractors are governed by the information in the addendum as if included in the plans. The addendum is part of the contract documents. The bidders shall acknowledge receipt of the addendum in their form of proposal.
1) Reference Spec Section 102800, 2.2 Washroom Accessories and drawings: A question was asked about the scope of work related to Toilet paper, Paper towel, Soap dispensers, Grab bars, Sanitary napkin disposals, Mirrors, Shower curtains and Rods, as well as Mop and Broom holders. The Accessory schedule shown on G2 will dictate the scope and contract obligations for the accessories.
2) Reference Spec Section 081416, 2.3 A-2. The notes in the specs call out for the contractor to match existing. A bidder has asked the question for us to define the exact species. The exact species of wood is oak (likely red oak). The intent is for the door vendor to provide wood color and grain swatches during the submittal phase and allow the design team to select. Architect recommends that the contractors view the doors (wood) during the upcoming site visit and evaluate the species of wood. For the purposes of bidding, contractor shall bid a red oak veneer door.
3) Reference Spec Section 087100 – 2.05 and 2.12 A question was asked about the core/keying system – bid docs note to match existing. Coring is a traditional best system and defined in the sections noted above.
End of Addendum.
