About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 issued by Engineering Management, Inc. for the City of Helen, Georgia's Mainstreet Sidewalk Extension project (EMI Project No. 21-046) dated February 5, 2025. The addendum addresses two key clarifications: there is no mandatory site visit requirement for this project, and it confirms that Sailors Engineering completed a geotechnical report for the retaining walls where soil nail walls are recommended for shoring.
The addendum modifies the original bidding documents from June 2022 and includes an attached geotechnical report, though the report itself is not included in the provided content. The project overall involves construction of 1,050 linear feet of 6-foot wide sidewalks, 1,020 linear feet of curb and gutter, storm drain structures, and erosion control, with a 120-day completion timeline from Notice to Proceed.
