About this file
This document is an addendum containing questions and answers related to a state contract opportunity for the supply of a prefabricated permanent trail bridge to be installed at Tuckahoe State Park in Maryland's Caroline County. The contract is being managed by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Parks Service. This is a supply-only bid, with the DNR staff responsible for the assembly and installation of the bridge. The bids must be submitted online through the eMMA procurement portal, despite contradictory information on the solicitation website.
The contract requires the successful vendor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and insurance necessary to manufacture and deliver the prefabricated bridge. There are no details provided on the expected quantity, response due date, or contract term. Pricing terms, funding sources, and other salient commercial information are also not included in the addendum.

QUESTION AND ANSWER
Trail Bridge at Tuckahoe State Park eMMA: BPM038734
Question: Is this bid to just supply the pedestrian bridge, or a supply and install bid. On the Specifications sheet, it says project consists of the vendor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to manufacture and deliver a prefabricated permanent trail bridge to Tuckahoe. This reads to me that it is just a supply bid but wanted to confirm with you.
Answer: This is a Supply Bid only. Please read the information provided on the Solicitation document to make sure that you understand what DNR is looking to purchase before you submit a bid. DNR Parks Service is a FRP bridge kit to be assembled and installed by the DNR staff.
Question: How should the bids be submitted? On the specifications sheet it says to upload bids must be submitted to the eMMA before the due time and date. However, on the website it says no online bids will be accepted. I am assuming that it should still be submitted online, but wanted to let you know that the online solicitation page contradicts what is stated in the spec sheet.
Answer: All responses must be submitted via online in EMMA. Upload all of your submissions and if you have any difficulties doing so, please contact the eMMA help desk at emma.helpdesk@maryland.gov
