About this file

This is an Addendum No. 2 to Invitation for Bid 2026-068 issued by Union County, North Carolina, for the Detention Center Boilers Replacement project. The addendum modifies the bid schedule for this procurement. The initial bid deadline of October 20, 2026, was not met with the minimum required number of submissions, as only two bids were received when Union County requires a minimum of three bids to proceed with project award. Consequently, a rebid has been scheduled with all bids required to be received by 2:00 PM EST on November 4, 2026. Late bids will not be accepted. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the bid form, and failure to do so may result in disqualification.

The addendum does not address pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, or other financial considerations, as its purpose is limited to clarifying and revising the schedule requirements of the original IFB document. All bidders are required to comply with the revised November 4, 2026, deadline and acknowledge this addendum as a condition of bid submission.
