In the future, the scale vendor will need to communicate with the DPS contractor that will be installing the Intelligent Imaging System at some time in the future. Scale vendor will need to be able to accomplish the following:
• IIS (Intelligent Imaging System) will need an IP based data feed from the static scale indicator
• IIS will provide the scale vendor with an IP address to use
• The static scale vendor will provide IIS with a data protocol document so IIS can interpret the data
8. The Accessibility / requirement of manhole? ANSWER: Access is all that’s important as long as the vendor can provide a means to work on the scales, it will be the responsibility of the vendor.
