About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) for the purchase of aluminum toolboxes. The requested toolboxes come in two sizes, 48" x 18" x 24" and 72" x 18" x 24", to be used on Wildland Fire Engines and Wildland Transports. FDACS does not have drawings for the custom toolboxes but has provided pictures for reference. The Department is seeking competitive bids for the outright purchase of these aluminum toolboxes, with no preferred brand, as long as the required dimensions are met. The contract opportunity involves the state of Florida and the local jurisdictions of Leon County and Tampa City.

Regarding pricing, FDACS has indicated that bidders must provide quotes for the exact requested dimensions and cannot offer similar sized toolboxes. There are no set-asides, incumbents, or funding details provided in the document. The Department has stated that for any questions regarding this Addendum, bidders should contact the Purchasing Office at the provided email address.
