About this file

This Addendum 2, issued April 12, 2019, by the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget on behalf of the Department of Natural Resources, provides revised specifications for the Fennville Farms Zone 7 Dike Repairs project. The project encompasses dike repairs, replacement of water control structures, and installation of a mobile pumping system. Key revisions clarify riprap and filter fabric placement at the two water control structures being installed: Structure 1 discharging into the county drain requires no filter fabric or riprap, while Structure 2 discharging into the South Impoundment requires both filter fabric and riprap placement. This revision reduces Bid Item 9 (Placement of Plain Rip-Rap & Filter Fabric for Water Control Structures) from 27 tons to 14 tons. The base bid schedule includes 15 line items with quantities ranging from 1 lump sum item for mobilization/demobilization to 9,800 square yards for geotextile stabilization placement and 5,950 cubic yards for aggregate base placement. The bid opening was scheduled for April 17, 2019, at 2:00 PM, with the original bidding document dated March 22, 2019.

All bid attachments must be submitted electronically through the SIGMA VSS system, with individual attachments limited to 6 megabytes. Hard copy submissions are not accepted. The base bid includes a provisional allowance of $50,000. Bidders experiencing submission issues may contact the SIGMA Help Desk at 888-734-9749 or via email, with prior approval from the DTMB Design & Construction Division available for alternative submission methods on a case-by-case basis. The project is funded under code 751W9512 with file number 751/17049.SAR.
