About this file

This is Addendum #2 to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by Rogue Community College for architectural and engineering services related to Transportation Technology buildings at the Redwood Campus and Table Rock Campus. The RFQ closing date is February 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time, with submissions directed to the Contract and Procurement Director at the college's Grants Pass, Oregon location. The Table Rock Campus project involves the renovation and expansion of Building D, located at 7632 Pacific Ave., White City, Oregon, with 14,000 square feet of newly constructed expansion space to be built on the south side of the existing primary building. The addendum clarifies that the pre-proposal sign-in sheet from January 16 is available on the Rogue Community College website and OregonBuys.gov, and it addresses concerns regarding the scope of Exhibit A Background/Experience submissions to ensure they remain within the twenty-five-page limitation by focusing on the proposing firm's background rather than requiring submissions from all sub-consultants.

The addendum provides critical clarifications regarding the scope of work, specifically directing that all references to work assignments between the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) and the college's representative or architect should be disregarded as carryover language. The document establishes that design services will be coordinated with a CMGC for pre-construction and construction phases, with cost estimating at specific design milestones designated as the CMGC's responsibility rather than the architect's scope. No pricing, set-asides, or incumbent information is provided in this addendum, as it serves primarily to clarify questions submitted by potential proposers regarding project scope, campus locations, and submission requirements.

Addendum #2 P17926-2025-02-06 A&E Transportation Technology

This addendum is prepared to provide clarifications and answer the following questions emailed to bidquestions@rougecc.edu.

1. Will the 1/16 pre-proposal sign-in sheet be made available to proposers?

This is available both on the RCC website at Vendor Opportunities and OregonBuys.gov

2. At the Table Rock campus can you please confirm:

A. Which existing building will be renovated/expanded for Transportation building?

Table Rock Campus Bldg. D, located at 7632 Pacific Ave., White City, Oregon.

B. Which parcel of land adjacent to the existing building will house the new Transportation building?

The existing building is on a 10-acre parcel and the intent is to build off the south side of the existing primary building.

C. Will the Transportation building be 14,000 sf of new space, or does the 14,000sf include new and renovated space together?

The space identified for the Table Rock Campus will be a newly constructed expansion of the existing facility.

3. For Exhibit A. Background/Experience do you want 1-3 answered by the architecture firm plus ALL of its sub-consultants? This could be 7+ different firms. We are concerned with the amount of information to be provided for 1-3 plus the resumes for each of their key personnel will surpass the twenty-five-page limitation?

The intent of this category is to evaluate the proposing firm’s background and experience with similar projects and that also include the elements of design services listed.

Clarifications:

4. Please disregard all references in the RFQ that transfers scope of work from CMGC to the College’s Representative/Project Manager or the Architect scope of work. This is carryover language not intended for this solicitation.

The RFQ calls out design services in coordination with a CMGC for pre-construction and construction. A CMGC will be a part of pre-construction design, and cost estimating at specific design milestones are part of the CMGC’s scope of work, not the architect’s.
