About this file

Addendum 2 is a supplementary document issued by the City of Millen, Georgia, in connection with the 2021 Millen CDBG project. This addendum modifies or clarifies the original contract opportunity, which encompasses comprehensive infrastructure improvements across sanitary sewerage, water, and drainage systems. The sewerage rehabilitation component includes replacement of approximately 1,405 linear feet of clay sewer mains with 8-inch HDPE sewer mains using pipe burst methodology, along with sewer lateral replacement and manhole rehabilitation. Water system improvements consist of 1,078 linear feet of 6-inch C-900 PVC water main installation, two connections to the existing water main, three new 6-inch gate valves, and a 6-inch fire hydrant assembly with cutoff valve. Drainage improvements include 2,190 linear feet of 24-inch rollover curb and gutter, 122 linear feet of 24-inch storm pipe, 528 linear feet of 18-inch storm pipe, and 376 linear feet of 15-inch storm pipe, supplemented by curb inlets, pavement replacement, roadway pavement overlay, sediment control measures, and grassing work.

The project is funded through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) resources, which typically support infrastructure improvements in eligible jurisdictions. Addendum 2 likely addresses clarifications, modifications, or additional requirements identified after the initial solicitation was released, such as specification changes, site condition updates, or administrative procedural adjustments. Bidders should review this addendum in conjunction with all original contract documents to ensure full compliance with current project requirements and specifications.
