About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for demolition and clearance services in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, and Tulare Counties. The IFB requests contractors to provide clearance and demolition services, hazardous material abatement, asbestos/lead paint abatement, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)/Water Pollution Control Program (WPCP) services and implementation. The addendum addresses a question about missing documentation links and provides the required documents. All other terms and conditions of the IFB remain in effect.

The IFB also includes subcontracting provisions, a bidder's bond, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) information and documentation requirements. Bidders must provide a list of all subcontractors, a bid bond, and documentation to demonstrate good faith efforts to meet the DBE participation goal, if the goal is not met. The contract value and duration are not specified in the provided documents.
