About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 for Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 26-16 for Outdoor Pool Rehabilitation issued by the City of College Park, Georgia's Purchasing Department. The addendum contains clarifications and responses to potential bidders' questions regarding a solicitation for cleaning supplies, equipment, and custodial related products. While the primary focus appears to be cleaning supplies, the document includes detailed responses about ordering procedures, vendor expectations, and delivery logistics. The City indicates they may use multiple vendors and are open to alternative brands, with orders to be placed as needed by various city departments including fire stations, police stations, recreation buildings, public works buildings, and city administrative locations.

The purchasing approach allows bidders to submit proposals for selected items rather than requiring a comprehensive bid, with an estimated annual usage of approximately 200 cases of 38" x 58" trash bags, 125 cases of 30" x 36" trash bags, and 20 cases of office liners. The City will order items as departments require them, with deliveries to be made to multiple locations. No specific budget was disclosed, and there are no lead time constraints. Current vendors include Southeastern Paper, Diamond Distributors, Associated Paper, and Peoples Janitorial. The City is flexible on product specifications, such as accepting different colored trash can liners, and may request samples to verify quality. Bidders are advised to monitor the City's website and the Georgia Procurement Registry for complete and timely information about the solicitation.
