About this file

This Addendum #1 Q&A document clarifies specifications for a handicap vehicle procurement by West Virginia. The primary modifications address vehicle configuration requirements, including acceptance of OEM Ford solid windows in lieu of T-slide windows, confirmation that any floor plan meeting the specified seating and wheelchair capacity is acceptable without a required diagram, and approval of the Ford Transit Mid roof model X9C as an alternative to the discontinued Ford Transit K1C model.

The addendum confirms that the vehicle must accommodate a total seating capacity of ten passengers, with this count including the driver and co-pilot seats plus eight passenger seats in the rear (comprising three double seats and two single seats), along with two wheelchair positions. These clarifications were issued in response to bidder inquiries and establish the acceptable parameters for vehicle specifications and configurations to facilitate compliance with procurement requirements.
