About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for RFP# CC0091-MWA3011, issued by Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) for an Autoclave Maintenance Service Agreement. The addendum addresses a clarification request from a potential service provider regarding the scope of the proposed maintenance contract. Specifically, the document confirms that WSUV is seeking a comprehensive maintenance service agreement that includes both parts and labor for three Consolidated Sterilizer Systems autoclaves installed approximately one year ago.

The addendum reveals that WSUV prefers a proposal that encompasses both preventative maintenance (PM) parts and repair parts, with the goal of obtaining a full understanding of the total cost of service. The response indicates flexibility in the contract structure, encouraging bidders to propose customized agreements that include both parts and labor. This approach suggests WSUV is looking for a comprehensive, transparent pricing model that covers all potential maintenance and repair needs for their autoclave equipment.

RFP# CC0091-MWA3011 “WSUV Autoclave Maintenance Service Agreement”

1) QUESTION:

Can you please let us know if parts are to be included in our proposal. There are the PM parts and the repair parts. We can offer agreements that are customized to the customer’s needs and so we can include parts and labor if that is preferred. Can you please advise us on this?

ANSWER:

Including parts and labor would be appreciated/preferred. Please include in your answers. We would like to have a comprehensive view of what our costs will be.
