About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Proposal issued by the Florida Department of Transportation, District Six, for District 4 and District 6 Commuter Services serving Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The addendum, dated February 12, 2026, provides clarifications and responses to questions submitted by prospective proposers. The original proposals were due February 19, 2026, with submission required via email to D6.Purch@dot.state.fl.us. The project encompasses commuter services including a Guaranteed Ride Home program and customer call center operations.
The addendum addresses seven key questions from proposers regarding proposal formatting, bonding requirements, historical service data, and vendor specifications. Notable responses include confirmation that page limits apply to technical proposals (Management Plan: 2 pages maximum, Technical Plan: 5 pages maximum, Resumes: 2 pages per staff member, Work Plan: 2 pages maximum), clarification that performance bonds and surety company letters are not required, and provision of 24-month historical data showing 8,235 Uber trips costing the most significant amount, 222 taxi trips, and zero Lyft trips for the Guaranteed Ride Home program. The addendum also reports that the customer call center received 30,033 calls over the past 24 months with an average handle time of 3 minutes and 48 seconds. Proposers are explicitly prohibited from modifying job classifications listed in Exhibit C Price Proposal, with any blank items potentially rendering proposals non-responsive. A corrected website link for MFMP Purchase Order Terms and Conditions was provided.
