About this file
This is an Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by Longbeach Utilities (LBU) on March 30, 2023, for No-Oxide Grease pails and Dechlorination Tablets. The addendum clarifies procurement details in response to bidder questions regarding anticipated usage and inventory requirements. LBU estimates ordering 200 units annually, with ordering patterns of approximately 100 units semi-annually, while reserving the right to place additional orders on an as-needed basis. The awarded vendor is required to maintain adequate inventory in stock and ready to ship at all times throughout the contract duration, capable of fulfilling timely weekly deliveries and emergency orders. The vendor must possess manufacturer authorization to distribute the items.
The addendum specifies that no specific minimum inventory level is mandated; rather, the vendor must maintain sufficient stock to meet LBU's operational needs. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning it with their quote submissions. The document does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, award dates, or renewal options, as these details remain in the original RFQ documentation.
