About this file
Addendum 1 for Invitation for Bid (IFB) #251-26-140 is a document from Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) addressing vendor questions regarding a supplemental math curriculum for high school special education students with Individual Education Program (IEP) math goals. The addendum provides clarification on two key areas: minimum qualifications and preferred supplemental curricula requirements. Specifically, the district confirmed acceptance of a teacher-facilitated instructional tool with pre-developed learning materials that can be administered to students on demand, and expressed a preference for a curriculum that offers both adaptive learning technology and digital content usable both in-class and at home.
The addendum indicates the district seeks a flexible math curriculum solution that can accommodate students with varying class schedules and learning needs. The preferred solution should provide personalized instruction capabilities while also allowing for teacher guidance and implementation. By seeking a combination of adaptive learning technology and digital content, WCPSS aims to create a versatile learning environment that supports students' mathematical development, particularly for those without dedicated math class periods. The document suggests the district is open to innovative educational technology solutions that can provide comprehensive math support for special education students.

Questions for IFB #251-26-140 – Supplemental Math Curriculum & IEP Goal Support
Reference Vendor Question Answers
Page 3: Minimum Qualifications
Would the district consider a teacher-facilitated instructional tool that includes pre-developed learning materials to administer to students on demand?
Yes.
Page 3: Preferred Supplemental Curricula
Is the district prioritizing adaptive learning technology that personalizes instruction for students, or is it primarily seeking digital content that teachers can implement and guide during instruction?
We would like a combination of both. Some of the students utilizing the resource may not have a class that supports Math work. We therefore prefer the option of resources that can be used at home as well as on that can be used in class if the student has a class listed in their scheduled.
