About this file

Addendum 1 for Invitation for Bid (IFB) #251-26-136 is issued by Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) for Curriculum Resources for Extended Content Standards. The document provides detailed responses to vendor questions regarding a comprehensive curriculum resource procurement targeting approximately 2,300 students or 300 classrooms, with an anticipated award date of July 1, 2025. The district is seeking a curriculum solution that addresses NC Extended Content Standards across English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, preferring a single vendor solution but open to multiple vendors if it best meets district needs. The current system in use is N2Y ULS, and the district plans to issue a purchase order upon award.

The addendum clarifies key procurement details, including openness to digital-only supplemental solutions and potential pricing adjustments during renewal. The district explicitly states that it requires a comprehensive curriculum resource covering all subject areas, not just foundational ELA skills. Vendors are advised that renewal pricing adjustments can be proposed, and while a single comprehensive vendor is preferred, the district remains flexible. The procurement is not establishing an approved vendor list but intends to make a direct purchase, with the successful solution expected to replace the current N2Y ULS system and serve special education students across multiple content areas.
